Fresh Prints & Coordinated Baby Wear
We were very excited to reveal the new brand identity for children’s clothing company Billy Roo as it was such a lovely project to work on. The brief was to help Billy Roo stand out in market of bespoke children’s clothing and reflect the highest quality of materials used in the products created. The founder Jenny, wanted a logo that was eye catching and referenced the Kanga“roo” in the company name.



The parent and child bond was the inspiration behind this adorable logo. The clean lines give a modern look with a nod to Scandinavian design which was important to our client. We went with a bold and bright colour palette to help the company stand out and create a playful appearance. As part of the design process, Jenny asked for a range of animal character designs to use on materials and across social media. They combine both hand generated and digital illustration techniques and we kept the colours vibrant to match the brand identity.






The project began with an initial meeting with Jenny to determine the requirements of the brief in more detail. This included a client questionnaire to identify Jenny’s goals for the branding. Having a clear understanding of Billy Roo’s brand values allowed us to create designs which communicated to their audience effectively. Part of the design process included regular client meetings with a range of concepts for Jenny to choose from. This ensured the designs were fit for purpose and expressed Jenny’s vision.
